As you know, I’m into cycling for 10 years so far.

From that experiences, I am going to explain deep spot of this region.

Taisyo mura that is the old atmosphere of villages.

Do you know Taisyo mura that is located in south Ena City, Gifu Pref.

The village is a part of Akechi town.

The town have been marged by Ena City in the past.

The town had 4,700 people as a population of the town.

That’s why, this town is countryside.

The village is sorrounded by mountains.

The town has a train called “Akechi tetudou”.

How to get the place from Seki City.

There are several way to the town in fact.

Generally speaking, the way of Nakasendo is the most convenient and memorable for crazy cyclists.

In the future, I would like to explain how to get the way of Nakasendo.

If you arrive at the town, you can see the huge facility called “Akechi taisyo roman kan”.

This facility has many parking and stand of bikes.

The facility consists of restaurant, souvenir shop, and accommodations.

So, you can see local souvenir from the shops freely.

The facility has several great local foods.

This city is located in on the hill, so its cold compared to the common places.

It’s around 400 to 500 m high.

So, there is a local produce called “Kanten”.

If you can go to the place, I recommend you to get this one.

This ingrediants were made by sea plants and this food has no calorie.

That’s why, it’s excellent for serious cyclists.

I found it great to eat this one during loosing weight.

Dango sugi.

Also, this region has significant tree that has lived for a long time than we expected named “Dango sugi”.

This tree has circular shape like Japanese traditional food called “Dango”.

Go to the local sushi restaurant.

If you come to this town, there are several good restaurant.

Especially, I recommend you to go to sushi restaurant.

This restaurant is located in west edge of this town.

Despite noble food called Sushi, this lunch menu was really affordable yet great.

It’s only 800 yen.
